The Ridge Casino login: what the entrance actually asks for
This is a building, not an account. Everything a search for a login is really about happens between the car park and the gaming floor — here is that sequence.
Open our partner's offer →There is no The Ridge Casino login page. The Ridge is a land-based casino at the corner of the N4 and Mandela Street in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, and everything people call a login happens at the door: you must be 18 or older, an identity document can be asked for, and the floor runs from 09:00 to 02:00 on Sunday to Thursday and to 04:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Getting in, in plain terms
- Only persons 18 years and older are permitted to gamble, and an accepted identity document can be requested at the entrance or later on the floor.
- The gaming floor opens at 09:00 every day and closes at 02:00 from Sunday to Thursday, with a later 04:00 close on Friday and Saturday.
- Table games start at 11:00 daily, so an early-morning visitor will find machines running and dealers still setting up.
- There is no admission charge for walking onto the floor; you pay for what you play, eat and watch, and nothing else.
- The resort stands at the corner of the N4 and Mandela Street in Emalahleni, beside the Highveld Mall; the switchboard is +27 13 655 9400.
- A Tsogo Rewards card is a loyalty card handed over at machines and tables — it is not a password, and it opens no website.
- The Salon Privé, with 54 machines and 5 tables, is a rewards-card area rather than a separate venue you can book into.
What a search for a login usually means, and what exists here
| What was typed | What the venue actually has |
|---|---|
| An online casino account | None — interactive online casino games are not licensed in South Africa |
| A password reset | The Tsogo Rewards desk, in person, with your identity document |
| A members-only area | Salon Privé on the floor: 54 machines, 5 tables, for rewards cardholders |
| Guest access | Walk-in entry from 09:00, 18 and over, no ticket to buy |
Why a floor in Emalahleni has nothing to sign into
A casino resort sells an evening in a room. Nothing stands between the car park and the machines except a member of staff who may want to see how old you are, which is why a search for a password reset ends nowhere useful: there is no account here to protect and no session to expire.
Most of the confusion traces back to the loyalty card. Tsogo Rewards is a physical card you slot into a machine or hand to a table host so that play is recorded; it is described on our rewards page. Losing it means a queue at the rewards desk, not a support ticket.
The rest of the answer is legal. Interactive online casino games are not licensed in South Africa, so no lawful operator can hand you an account carrying this venue's name for slots or roulette over the internet. Anything advertising one is unrelated to the building described on this page.
Timing a visit around the clock, not around a queue
The practical planning problem in Emalahleni is not entry but hours. Machines wake up at 09:00, dealers arrive at the tables at 11:00, and the floor closes at 02:00 on weeknights and 04:00 on Friday and Saturday. A visitor arriving at 10:00 hoping for blackjack has an hour to fill in the mall next door.
The restaurants, the cinema and the hotel run their own timetables and none of them match the gaming floor exactly. One call to +27 13 655 9400 settles all three faster than any listing site.
A first visit, from the N4 turn-off to the first machine
- Leave the N4 at the Mandela Street (President Avenue) interchange in Emalahleni and follow signs for the resort beside the Highveld Mall.
- Bring an accepted identity document: a South African ID book or card, a driver's licence or a passport.
- Walk in from 09:00 — there is no entrance fee and no ticket counter for the floor itself.
- Ask at the rewards desk first if you want your play tracked from the start rather than halfway through the evening.
- Pick your room: 133 machines on the main floor, 143 in the smoking casino, or the Salon Privé area with 54 machines and 5 tables.
- Fix a stop time. Weeknights end at 02:00 and weekends at 04:00, which is late enough that the building will not end the session for you.
Gambling is for persons 18 years and older. The National Responsible Gambling Programme helpline is free on 0800 006 008.
